3 Days & 2 night trip definitely an outing. It was an awesome & amazing trip with all the unusual character dudes. Anyway, detail epic can be found from these triple link. For the offroad although dry season but still challenging that wreck two car except the Hilux.

One of the activity in 2009 was pancing in the jungle trek lead by Julberg. Number of fish caught was unknown or "Can't remember"....hee. But in end May, there will be "Hot Spring Ingai Trip", including fishing, tangkap pelanduk etc2. That will be 3 days 2 nights. For skuter trip, hopefully will be in June/July as advised by Captain Arch.

This was actually in december trip during raining season. So far no skuter trip during the raining season & therefore mainly 4x4 trip. Hopefully, there will be skuter trip somewhere in March or April depending on Captain & committee call...hee. For Nyamuknying trip, it's kind of tarik menarik trip where 50 m took us 1.5 hr to travel so just imagine. We stumble on group of motor cross but thay also end up in the mud zone.

Last sunday, DRM 4x4 offroad trip combine with tutong 4x4 (G-ayub geng) and lead by kb 4x4 (Halim & Geng) to Ulu Tutong ( Nyamuknying - Belabau - Mapon). Hmm..obviously difficult offroad terrain as compare with previous trip with sliding close to curam, terpuruk in the mud, difficult to climb the hill and ditch into the river..heee. Next trip, possible to sleep overnight with fishing, menjolok durian & menyuluh (tangkap pelanduk) activity.

Kergu Dam located somewhere before Labi & about 7 km offroad. Currently, under construction for water supply probably for SPARK project & lumut liang area. A bit of last minute trip, so we missed the usual offroader or camera dudes but we do have Omanies desert offroader & last minute participant Renny. Renny is famous for Amazing 2007 Sukang Offroad Trip so this time he share with us with his new " Land Rover Tractor "..heee

Ulu Sukang Trip (Part 2)

After the stranded & long discussion, we decided not to stay in the "BAS SEKOLAH" but to walk 5 km to Kg Sukang, thinking if we can get boat to go back home. But on arrival there, we miss the boat trip & we end up staying overnight in rumah panjang. We were fortunate because the villager were really helpful, accommodating, friendly & warm welcome. On behalf of the group, we would like to say zillion thanks for the hospitality especially to Penghulu Hj Simpok & Family, Tuan Hailmey (Gerak Khas), Cikgu Malik & cikgu2 Sukang. Hopefully, we'ill meet again in future offroad trip or Ingei Trip...heee

Ulu Sukang Trip (Part 1)

Continuation from the previous Melilas scouting. This time is the real trip just to explore if there is really a tarmac road for skuter. So three 4x4 offroader have been mobilised Anchor Land Rover (Azfri), Terios (Ice) & Blue Fortuner(Hj Ayub) with Mahri & Amirio so-called muscle-man (i.e. tukang surung keta man..hee). We hope for the rain before the journey but then the requested have been fullfill with extra package (stormwind) which resulted in fallen tree that block our journey back to the tarmac world. Question is....How do we survive?? Let's hear the story below...there will be part 2 also, the sequel..

I first got my vespa back in Jan this year. It means that itz already been half a year since i ever started riding. And now it makes me to wonder how far have i travel on it. You know..saja mau tau. Obivously should be more than that 203km, coz itz not until April the speedometer got fixed. But again from April till July, only 203km? Ermm..ketara jarang pakai hehe. But even with that distance i only spent around $5 on fuel. Steady ah hehe. So how far have you guys travel with your own skuter?

It feels so good to be back home after long holiday...missed my Vespa so much. Last week me and Aizul went around KB town, especially the "perindustrian" area. Went pass-by Vincent office and Hazman crib. Plus explored some new area ada sampai kana uyung kuyuk lagi tu hehe. Not one or two....many many of them. Be-gengstar durang hehe. Also we found a new fishing spot for us, closed to the AZ's berger. Man it's been awhile ...sia sia pun.Well, I could say one of the few places that we rarely visit lah not unless with this skutering trip that we've been doing lately...i dont think we'll be around that place.

We kick-off the ride after fueling up my 1969 model Vespa at the Jalan Maulana petrol station. Since one month away kan, paksa lah top-up tyres pressure. Both inexperienced lagi on this matters, so we did trial and error. But at the end....succeed! jua lah :). Then we went deeper into the Belait river where we found "bahtera" or wooden ship. Nya c Aizul, macam bahtera Nabi Noh dikit hehe. May be for the up comming Rafting Klassik kali. Not sure. Lastly, we went to the second fishing spot right at the Belait river mouth. So nanti nanti bleh riding and memanching together gether hehe.

Once again Captain Arch request 2 comrades (Ice & Amirio with 4x4 dudes) to explore in Melilas if it will be suitable for skuter to wondering around. Will this be our next skuter trip...hmmm....let the picture make DRM skuterizer decide..hee. By the way, recent KB skutering encountered dog besiege & attack and last two month, caught in the KB hurricane & storm. So learning point, check the weather & do not go to restricted area.

There's a possiblity our next skuter trip somewhere in August. Location might be in Lupak Luas. So please check this website for the update.

This time not the usual amirio google map but the journey around Grand Junction (Colorado) to Green River(Utah/Salt Lake City). Lot's of biker spotted mainly Harley Davidson version and they are cool dudes. Hope DRM skuter/motor might join them travel thousands of km from West to East USA appreciating desert Nevada scenary but only problem there's too many Optimus Prime trucker travelling at 120km/h that might sweep or blown away our skute ( terabang kali..heee).

Merimbun Excursion

The excursion to Merimbun was fabulous and full of excitement and was launch by Rahim cuboi with his red flask (suppose to be starting flag) from Tutong. There were 11 scoot/motor & one 4x4 offroad. The initial journey was unexpectedly broke the convoy chain whereby 3 scoot (500cc) overshoot & vanish into thin air & left behind the 50cc scoot group (kesian..hee). There's nowhere the 50cc scoot to cope with them. It's like "Rabbit vs turtle"..heee. With the prompt action from Captain Arch, he mobilised Azelin with 600cc Power Bike to pursue them but at the end, he disappear too as if they were into Mystery Barumuda Triangle.

So 50cc group (Ice,spidey,capt arch,dedy,dillah,julberg,rudy) decided to chase them via short cut road through "Kampung Birau". Among our fans at the Kampung Road were the "Kerbau". They "moo" at us and got stimulate with our continuous "HORN". Just wondering what's in the mind of the Kerbau. Since no car at Kampung road & the 50 cc couldn't go faster, we decided to do some acrobatic or stunt or MAT REMPIT initiated by our Dedy (ehemm...mcm HSE officer) & Dillah ( Model Boy). As result of that, the fans request us to stop for pictures & photo at river view site.

The journey continue till we arrived to Merimbun & meet the vanish group and obviously the lepak & photo session. Sorry, there will be no photo from my side, since my scoot boot full of rescue tools but no worry there will lot's of photo from others (Meo already contribute as shown below..thanks). Last Monday we went to Kampung Baru in SERIA town. Siuk buiiiii!!!. To my surprised, i never know that they have a big basketball court, complet with roof and grand stand lagi tu. Respect man. Refer the blue line in the map, more or less in total of 25km distance. Best kan.

Next mission is to update Google Earth with new road map and off-road map eseh hehe.

Pandan Trip

Journey in zig-zag route in Pandan neighborhood by white vespa & brown hornet (Black Spidey missing in action). Aim mainly aimless & to heat up the engine lah.... There will be more journey till all the road in Brunei will be occupied by the yellow ant-track including the offroad & muddy road. If no more road need to be explored, may be it's time to explore the river...hee

Salam to all

First of all, i would like to welcome you all to this new DRM associated fun group. It's for all the two-cycle ride out there regardless you riding vespa, scooter, harley or even bicycle. As long you can ride above 50 km/hr ;)

The traditional moto "Play for Fun" still apply where any new fun activities and adventures will be updated via this simple blog. The dream of buidling this new affliliate actually only started couple of weeks ago, mainly suggested by one of the DRM CEOs. So feel free to gives any constructive comment as you wish.

Short foreword from the newly appointed DRM-Skuter captain, Arch:

"Dear DRM Scoot/Motor,

We've just announced our DRM Scoot/Motor during end year 2007. They show that we had another satisfactory result with the graduation on Motor License of 3 dudes during last weekend and expansion of DRM Vespa. Over the course of the years, I (Captain Arch) persuade to form DRM Scoot/Motor to earn in important new projects to secure our future DRM.However, as you know, fast-moving changes in our DRM are pushing up resources but definitely increasing fun. That's all the more reason for us to strive urgently for top-quartile fun & enjoyment across our DRM.

Anyway, as Captain of DRM, I would like to propose DRM scoot/motor trip to Merimbun on 1st March 2008 on saturday. The detail will be further finalised. Please forward this e-mail if I miss anybody. People from Sakhalin/Oman or Nigeria are welcome too but wonder how long will take you guys travel by scoot to Merimbun.
